Scenic drive toward Mindo
Leave Quito and travel northwest toward the cloud forest. The route changes from Andean city landscapes into green mountain valleys.
El Pahuma Orchid Reserve
Walk through the cloud forest, observe orchids, native species and hummingbirds. Entrance fee is not included and is usually USD 10 per person.
Las Cotingas hummingbird experience
Visit a special birdwatching location where travelers can observe hummingbirds, tanagers, toucans and other species from close range. The hummingbird feeding experience is usually USD 10 per person and is not included.
Lunch in Mindo
Enjoy free time for lunch in Mindo. Meals are not included, so travelers can choose where and what they would like to eat.
Mindo Maya chocolate experience
