What Tourism actually is, is a social phenomenon that involves various aspects of society. Therefore, it is something very complex to establish at first glance, since tourism is not an economic activity, and ultimately it is not an industry.
It is an activity made up of people, without them tourism would not be possible nor would it exist as such. We are the people who determine: what is touristy and what is not, an attraction in itself would be nothing without the intervention of human beings.

Tourism is a social phenomenon that goes beyond a technical term or an economic analysis, so below I present a definition of tourism, according to my own criteria.
Definition of Tourism
It is a socio-economic phenomenon, which is produced by the displacement of a group of people, in order to satisfy their needs for leisure, recreation, adventure; among other. For a period greater than 24 hours and less than one year, non-profit.
History of Tourism
It can be said that it began with the first expeditions of the tribes searching for food due to the need for survival, also to conquer other territories, remember that the tribes were nomadic in prehistory, so they did not have a fixed place to settle.

They were also motivated by religious issues, therefore they had to look for places to spend the night – here we already see the beginning of the hotel industry – the pilgrims had to stop to rest and eat.
Throughout all times and in all civilizations we can talk about tourism – obviously in those times the terminology had not been invented – with travelers who wanted to discover new destinations and have new experiences.
Why did I dedicate myself to Tourism?
In short, there is nothing else in the world that fills my soul, like having dedicated myself to tourism – especially in nature – it is an activity that has everything in one:

It is incredible to meet people from other latitudes, learn a little about their culture.
